This Saturday, singer Erind Xhaferaj from Fier appeared before the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, where he is expected to learn the security measure following his arrest two days earlier.

He was arrested by the Fier Police after being suspected of carrying out obscene acts near the premises of the “Jakov Xoxa” artistic school. According to the information available, the complaint was filed by female students at the institution, who contacted the police.
Following the report, police officers verified the information and intervened to detain the singer. He was then taken to the police station, where the relevant procedures were carried out and he was questioned.
Xhaferaj is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of “Obscene acts,” while the authorities are continuing their investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
The hearing this Saturday is taking place before Judge Noel Veizi and Prosecutor Skerdi Sinanaj, who will consider the request to impose a security measure.
The court will assess the measure to be imposed on the singer, while the criminal proceedings continue. Erind Xhaferaj is presumed innocent until a final court ruling is issued.
