Weak Earthquake Recorded in Ohrid and Resen

This afternoon, at 18:08, an earthquake with a local magnitude of 2.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in the Ohrid and Resen area.

Automatic data from seismological applications indicate that the epicenter of the tremor was near the village of Kuratica, northeast of Ohrid and Leskoc, at a depth of around 15 kilometers.

Tremors of this magnitude are classified as very weak and are usually felt only by people who are more sensitive or in quiet environments, particularly on the upper floors of buildings.

So far, there have been no reports of material damage.
