Rockefeller Center in New York City will have a stunning 75-meter-tall fir tree as its Christmas tree this year, continuing a tradition that has been associated with the holiday season in the American metropolis for years.
The approximately 75-year-old fir was sourced from the West Edmeston area of New York State and will be transported to Rockefeller Center’s main plaza on November 7. Its arrival will mark the start of the Christmas season.
