VIDEO/ Tear gas fired, protest escalates/ Students moved away from Ministry of Education: Down with dictatorship

The students’ protest outside the Ministry of Education escalated this Tuesday, just as it had the previous day. The students continued throwing hard objects at the police and also toward the ministry.

After several minor actions involving detentions and water cannons, the police also fired tear gas. The students moved a short distance away from the Ministry of Education, but later returned, chanting against the government and Prime Minister Rama.
