A Turkish citizen has been deprived of his liberty after being caught with forged documents for the vehicle he was driving. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that the case was discovered during a border check.

The incident occurred on July 21, 2026, at around 15:50, at the Deve Bair border crossing. Police stopped the 37-year-old Turkish citizen D.A. as he attempted to enter the country. During the procedure, it was established that he had presented a forged green card for a “Mercedes” truck with a semi-trailer, bearing Turkish license plates.
After the violation was confirmed, the authorities immediately notified the public prosecutor. According to the MoI’s announcement, after the complete documentation of the event is finished, appropriate charges will be filed against the suspect.
