TIRANA – On the 40th day of rallies against Edi Rama’s government, protesters continued their march along the capital’s main thoroughfares.
Dozens of citizens joined the movement and once again took to the streets of Tirana, chanting slogans against the government.

With banners in their hands, flamingos as the symbol of the protest, and messages that have now become the hallmark of this civic movement, participants conveyed their demands for change, transparency and accountability.
Their messages were heard at several of the city’s most important locations, while organizers and protesters stressed that the demonstration would continue in the coming days.
Today’s march is part of the wave of protests held in recent weeks, in which citizens and opposition supporters have expressed their opposition to the government and the political situation in the country.
