Today, the citizens’ revolt against the government has entered another critical moment. On the 28th consecutive day of protests in Tirana, the organizers have called for a major nationwide demonstration, seeking the broadest possible participation from all cities and the diaspora.

The first protesters have begun gathering in Skanderbeg Square. According to the planned schedule, after assembling in the center of the capital, citizens will set off on a massive march toward Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, where they will stop in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.

A distinguishing feature of today’s rally, alongside its nationwide scale, is the presence of international support on the ground. On this 28th day of the revolt, MEPs are also expected to join the protest, having arrived in Tirana to closely follow developments and support the citizens’ demands for transparency and the rule of law.

At this protest as well, just as in previous days, the main demands remain the same: the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the establishment of a transitional technical government, and full equality before the law.
