The latest citizens’ protest has begun on “Dëshmoret e Kombit” Boulevard, while the anti-government gathering today marks its 27th day.
At the outset, citizens from Tirana and other cities across the country gathered in the center of the capital, before later joining together in the square near the Prime Minister’s Office, from where they called on the authorities to take their demands into consideration.

Once again, just as in previous days, the protesters’ main demand remains the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama from office.
A group of organizers also presented a political platform, with the aim of clarifying matters for all those who have joined the protest.
The organizers announced that the gathering will continue with speeches, a march, and other forms of civic reaction, while emphasizing that the mobilization will go on until their demands are met.
Various banners could be seen among the protesters, as well as American flags.
“We are the most pro-American people in the world. Rama, resign! Don’t bargain with Albania,” the citizens declared, chants that were accompanied by cheers from those present.
