As part of “Period” operation, a 31-year-old man was detained by Durrës Police after four business robberies in the Shkëmbi i Kavajës area were solved. The suspect, D. B., a resident of Hajdaraj, Kavajë, is suspected of having acted together with A. S., 31, who has been declared wanted.
According to the investigation, the two suspects took money and valuables from markets and establishments between October 17 and 21, 2026, within just five days.

The cases were solved by Crime Investigation specialists at the Plazh Police Station following investigative work.
The investigation is continuing in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office to determine whether the two 31-year-olds are also linked to other robberies in the area.
The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Durrës Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
