A 19-year-old man with the initials I.Sh., from Fier, who was seriously injured in an accident on the Mbrostar–Levan road the previous day, has died at Trauma Hospital.

The young man was traveling in a Volkswagen vehicle whose driver lost control. The car veered off the road and ended up in the roadside ditch.
After the accident, the 19-year-old was initially taken to Fier Regional Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Due to his critical condition, he was later transferred to Trauma Hospital in Tirana, but he did not survive his injuries.
Two other people who were in the vehicle were also injured in the same incident.
Police, together with forensic experts, are continuing their investigation to establish the circumstances of the accident and the reason why the driver lost control of the vehicle.
