Redi Muçi and Ardit Bido clash again in Parliament over Zvërnec and Chameria: “Blow your flute somewhere else, you’ve got the wrong hole”

The plenary session was once again strained by a fierce debate between Socialist Party MP Ardit Bido and “Together Movement” MP Redi Muçi during discussions on Zvërnec and Chameria.

The clash unfolded with interruptions and strong tones from both sides, increasing tension in the parliamentary chamber.

Bido: On Zvërnec, on the issue over which these charlatans supposedly came out, and rightly so did thousands of Albanians, who later left the square and left behind only the charlatans. The property rights of the residents of Zvërnec are legitimate. I am the only MP who has spoken with names, at a time when these anti-Albanian populists were silent. I repeat that the residents of Zvërnec are entitled to property rights. Today is a good day. SPAK has launched investigations. The amount from the property sale has also been frozen. To remain politically silent on Zvërnec while presenting yourself as a great patriot and not speaking about property rights is charlatanism. Today at the protest we saw 60 hooligans, not citizens, incited by charlatans, who waited with eggs in their pockets for Vangjel Dule and Redi Muçi. The residents of Zvërnec are right, and SPAK supports this with the will of the PS. These charlatans who seek to inflame the language of hatred have no place in Albanian politics. Discrimination is hate speech, it is the trash bin that inspires them and pushes them to call for protests with trash bins, while in the trash bin of history only their name will remain.

Muçi: Comrade Bido, you do not follow me on social media, but I will tell you again that the Together Movement, of which I am part, is the only party that specifically mentions the Cham people and their right to be recognized by the Greek state. Stop, Bido, stop! I am the only MP who has denounced the genocide against the people in Gaza. I have no hesitation in saying that those who have devoted their lives to defending the rights of migrants are not Greeks. These nationalism debates may perhaps work for those who follow you.

Bido: Redi Muçi, give up your MP mandate. You are nobody to divide the Albanian people. The Albanians of Chameria are Albanians. You cannot create division within our people outside Parliament. You are shameless. You compare the Albanians of Chameria with Palestine. You cannot divide the Albanian people. The PS is a force that will politically crush you.

Muçi: I am sorry that I have to waste time on replies of this kind of nationalism from a disgusting man. When I spoke about the Cham people, I meant the Albanian people of Chameria. Blow your flute somewhere else, you’ve got the wrong hole; change the hole of the flute a bit, because the more you blow, the more ridiculous you become.
