The leader of the Socialist Party and the country’s prime minister has shed light on the discussions held with ministers in Pogradec. Rama said that the focus of political leaders and ministers should be on citizens’ concerns, while calling for more direct engagement in monitoring institutions across the country.
The prime minister also stressed the need for greater coordination between MPs and political leaders, saying that jointly analyzing problems could bring about a change in the way things operate.

“Our focus should be every citizen’s concern. We must empower political leaders to follow up on matters on the ground, and we must require ministers to personally monitor all directorates every month. If there is a group of MPs that focuses together and analyzes them together, then things change,” Rama said.
Meanwhile, most of the ministers focused on the “Besa” document.
“It would be valuable to also have a ‘Besa’ unit in each ministry,” the energy minister said.
Meanwhile, Minister Mirela Kumbaro said: “The Besa document aims to assign specific names to concerns raised publicly.”
