Rama marks the 250th anniversary of US Independence: For Albanians, a celebration of special significance

In a statement published on the social network Facebook, Prime Minister Edi Rama focused on the 250th anniversary of US Independence, describing the anniversary as a special celebration for Albanians as well. His post was accompanied by a photo of the Statue of Liberty.

“GOOD MORNING and happy America’s July 4th, under the majestic shadow of the Statue of Liberty, which is also a special celebration for Albanians, despite the opposing winds that have historically sought to dim the beautiful energy of this country, I wish you a wonderful weekend,” Rama writes.
