Begaj congratulates the US on the 250th anniversary of Independence and praises its support over the years

In a message published this Saturday on social media, President Bajram Begaj congratulated the United States of America on the 250th anniversary of Independence.

In his message, the head of state extended his warmest greetings to President Donald Trump, as well as to American citizens.

Begaj underlined that Albania attaches special importance to its strong friendship and strategic partnership with the US, built on the shared values of freedom, democracy, peace and prosperity.

He also expressed Albania’s gratitude for the uninterrupted assistance of the United States, starting from the recognition of the country as a state to the major reforms carried out over the last 35 years.
