Citizens gathered again outside the Prime Minister’s Office on Thursday evening, continuing their protest and their demand for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation. Despite fines and being forcibly taken to police stations, the protesters chose to return to the square and continue voicing their opposition.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Rama, alongside the European Union ambassador in Tirana, Sofia Moreira de Sousa, warned that administrative fines and criminal investigations against protesters would continue.
