Protest in Tirana: 59 people injured—34 police officers, 21 protesters and 4 passers-by

Following today’s protest in Tirana, 59 people received medical treatment at the hospital for injuries sustained.

Those injured included 34 police officers, 21 protesters and 4 passers-by, one of whom was a minor.

The protest was marked by tensions and clashes, while the revolt by young people and students ended just a few minutes ago. Its sixth day is expected to begin tomorrow.
