During an operation carried out last night at several hospitality venues in the capital, the authorities arrested eight individuals, three of whom were minors. The operation was conducted by the Skopje Internal Affairs Unit with the support of inspectors from the State Market Inspectorate, during which a total of 37 people were checked.

According to an official statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two of the venues inspected were found to be operating beyond the legally निर्धारित closing time. At another venue, it was established that alcoholic beverages had been offered to minors, a serious violation of the applicable legal regulations.
The inspections also uncovered cases involving the possession of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors by suspected individuals. “As part of the operation, the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector worked closely with market inspectors to verify compliance with legal requirements at hospitality venues. Eight people were detained, three of them minors, while two venues were found to have violated working-hour regulations and at another, the sale of alcohol to minors was documented,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in its statement.
