The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of singer George Mazonakis is continuing, while on September 28, another employee of the clinic on Karneadou Street appeared before the 32nd investigating magistrate to testify.

The witness is a 61-year-old retired nurse who worked part-time at the clinic of the two arrested doctors, Ioanna Gaka and Ilias Theodoropoulos.
According to reports, she provided information that further implicates the two accused doctors and corrected part of the statements she had made during the preliminary investigation.
Before the investigating magistrate, the 61-year-old said that she was at the Karneadou clinic and had not left at 4:15 p.m., as she had initially stated. She is also believed to have described the situation at the clinic after the incident, recounting the panic that had gripped the staff.
The nurse testified that the arrested doctor had called all the employees into the room where George Mazonakis was located.
She also said that she had not communicated with the doctor afterward, describing him as someone who did not accept criticism.
Regarding the 58-year-old doctor, the 61-year-old is said to have stated that after the singer’s death, he addressed the female employees, saying: “We are all jointly responsible.”
The clinic employees’ contracts have not been terminated, but according to the latest information, they are currently in a state of “suspension.”
It has not been ruled out that the clinic employees may also turn to the justice system. Meanwhile, the investigation into the circumstances of the singer’s death is continuing.
