The diplomatic mission is asking citizens to comply without exception with the instructions of the Saudi security authorities and civil defense services.

If an alarm is activated or a warning siren is heard, citizens should immediately move indoors and stay away from windows or glass surfaces. They are also advised to avoid public gatherings, military installations and border areas near Yemen.

The embassy reminds citizens that photographing, filming and posting images of the attacks on social media are subject to strict restrictions. According to the notice, the Saudi authorities provide for severe penalties for these actions. Citizens should keep their mobile phones charged and report any suspicious objects or missile debris.

Air travelers should bear in mind that the situation may cause flight delays or cancellations. For this reason, passengers are advised to check their flight status with the airline before heading to the airport.

The notice was issued at a time when attacks on Saudi Arabia have increased. On Saturday, October 10, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh was attacked again, leaving several people injured and leading to the temporary suspension of operations. Meanwhile, on Thursday, three Saudi nationals were killed in the attacks on the airport.

North Macedonian citizens in need of urgent assistance can contact the Embassy in Abu Dhabi at the duty number +971 56 441 7532.

The diplomatic mission urges citizens to share this notice with other North Macedonian nationals who are in Saudi Arabia.
