Deadly floods and landslides in Nepal have left at least 590 foreign nationals missing, originating from 39 different countries.
Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that rescue teams have so far managed to bring 323 foreign nationals to safety. Ministry spokesman Lok Bahadur Chhetri confirmed the figures.

According to the authorities’ preliminary tally, the death toll in Nepal has risen to 903, while 4,247 people remain missing.
The natural disaster has also affected Tibet, China, near the border with Nepal. Sixteen deaths have been confirmed in the region, while 546 people are reported missing.
Including both affected areas, the preliminary toll stands at 919 dead and 4,793 missing.
Search-and-rescue operations are continuing, while authorities warn that figures for the damage and casualties may change over the coming hours.
