Orhan Murtezani, ambassador and permanent representative of the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO, formally assumed his post by presenting his credentials to the Alliance’s Secretary General, Mark Rutte.

Following the meeting, Murtezani thanked Rutte for receiving him and underscored the responsibility he carries in representing his country at NATO.
“I would like to express my gratitude to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte for the warm welcome during the credential presentation ceremony.
North Macedonia has its place, voice and allies within the Alliance. I consider it a great honor to take on the responsibility of ensuring that this voice is clear, credible and consistent,” Murtezani said.
