Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared moments from their summer vacation in Europe, while a report by the American magazine People reveals that the couple stayed at Althorp, Princess Diana’s childhood home, along with their children Archie and Lilibet.

In the photos posted by Meghan on Instagram, Lilibet is seen walking down the famous tree-lined avenue of the Althorp estate in Northamptonshire, near the private island on a lake where Diana is buried.
Ahead of her are Harry and Archie, carrying bouquets of flowers to place at Princess Diana’s grave and nearby memorial, writes DailyMail.
In another image, Meghan is seen relaxing on a lounger next to Earl Spencer and his wife, Dr. Cat Jarman, while petting her rescue dog, Mamma Mia, which appears to have traveled with the family during the vacation.
According to People, which is considered one of the publications closest to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the US, the visit gave Archie and Lilibet the chance to spend time in a place with a special connection to their late grandmother, Princess Diana, who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.
The photos posted by Meghan, accompanied by the caption “Summer Vacation”, also show moments from Portugal, where the couple is said to have spent time before Harry’s trip to Britain. They feature beaches, moments by the pool, and a dinner at a local fish restaurant.
Another landscape photo has raised suspicions that the family may have also visited Scotland, as the view appears to match Loch Glascarnoch in the Lowlands.
However, no photos have been published of a possible meeting between them and King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove.
Harry had wanted Meghan and the children to join him during his five-day trip to Britain, which was focused on commitments with the Invictus Games and his charitable organizations.
But he traveled alone, while Meghan and the children arrived later, staying out of the public eye due to ongoing security concerns.
A friend of the couple said that Meghan had felt “humiliated” and experienced “sadness” over how the week had gone, following developments that included the cancellation of an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace.
