The Democratic Party’s National Council has elected 20 new members of the party leadership, with Ilda Zhulali announced as the top vote-getter, while Grigels Muçollari led the list among men with 170 votes. The election process was held in the presence of the candidates and their observers and concluded in the early hours of the morning.
Also, in the elections held yesterday, several important figures and PD MPs were left out of the leadership. Specifically, names such as Arjan Ndoja, Edi Paloka, Gent Strazimiri, Fidel Kreka and Luan Baçi failed to secure a seat in this governing body.

Meanwhile, the PD leadership automatically includes the main figures who lead the party, such as the chairman, the deputy chairmen, the PD secretary, the chairwoman of the Women’s Democratic League, as well as the chairman of the FRPD.
