Macedonia’s Ministry of Interior announced that yesterday (20.09.2026), at 22:20, at the “Suvi Laki” location along the regional Strumica–Berovo road, the mobile “Task Force” team of the Regional Center for Border Affairs East detained G.P. (32) from the village of Pozharanë, Vrapçisht Municipality; S.Z. (37) from the village of Murtinë, the Strumica area; N.S. (31) from the village of Voisllavc, the Radovish area; B.A. (25) from Radovish; and V.S. (22) from the village of Zleovë, Radovish Municipality.

During a search of the “Dacia Duster” passenger vehicle, which had Skopje license plates and in which the five people were traveling, the authorities found and seized marijuana.
The detainees were taken to and held at a police station. The Ministry of Interior said that, once the case has been fully documented, the Regional Center for Border Affairs East will file an appropriate criminal complaint.
