One thing that should have been said from the outset is this: be careful with our national flag!
The flag represents the honor and symbol of a nation, and therefore it must not be turned into the shroud used to cover the corpse of just any Albanian.
It is not merely a piece of fabric that can be thrown over every dead person, nor should it be used to hide the face of a thief, spy, drug dealer or anyone who trades away the national interest.
Have you noticed how loudly the “scholars” raise their voices, and with how much dedication and enthusiasm they react whenever some village imam makes a mistake?
Yet those same people are nowhere to be heard when it comes to those who sold out Albania, to Albanians who became owners of the drug trade, or to the media where former UDB agents of the “shehollas” and “nafiçegranis” type are presented as respected debaters and patriots.
They also remain silent about drugs being sold even in eight-year schools, about the fact that drug dealers are our greatest “benefactors” when it comes to building places of worship and schools, and about the dozens of drug addicts found in every Albanian neighborhood. They are equally speechless in the face of the disappearance of our rivers and natural resources, which are being turned into garbage dumps.
But why, then, do they so zealously instruct us, Albanian Muslims, on how we should practice our faith, while in television debates they say nothing when UDB agents speak about the most sacred thing we have, the UÇK, and take it upon themselves to define Albanian patriotism and national loyalty?
Apparently, they know in detail what an Albanian Muslim should look like, but they fail to see the Albanian who plunders his own people. Because if they attacked the thief, the drug dealer, the trader of Albanian interests or the media owner who has sold out, they would lose the trough that is kept full by the “Alliance of Scumbags.”
Have you also noticed that attacks against “Islamic radicalism” intensify precisely when the lid is taken off certain media outlets—those septic pits into which the sewage of Albanian society is poured—and the stench of dirty money coming from Belgrade spreads from them?
Nevertheless, it should be borne in mind that today there are many “thinkers” whose only profession is anti-Islamism. They are paid to antagonize the majority of Albanians who belong to the Islamic faith, to undermine the most beautiful value we possess—religious pluralism—and to make Albanian Muslims feel inferior to Christians.
As for the imam of Llacë, I know him personally and would like there to be as many people like him as possible, and as few as possible of those imams who are Arabizing the Albanian world.
