The Ministry of Internal Affairs has recorded nine cases of domestic violence in different parts of the country over the past 24 hours. In five of them, the suspects were arrested, while official interviews were conducted with three people.
According to the Interior Ministry, the competent public prosecutors were informed about each of the cases and, once the full documentation is completed, the appropriate charges will be filed.

In Kumanovo, police detained a 32-year-old man on suspicion of physically assaulting his mother in the family home.
In Tetovo, a 62-year-old man was arrested after his two sons reported that, while under the influence of alcohol, he physically attacked them and threatened them with a sharp object.
In the municipality of Chashka, a 28-year-old man was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of assaulting his extramarital partner, also using a hard object. During the check, it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol.
In Shtip, police arrested a 39-year-old man who was reported to have threatened his ex-wife and violated a court protection measure against domestic violence.
In Veles, a 24-year-old man ended up in handcuffs because he is suspected of threatening his former partner and physically assaulting one of her friends at a hospitality venue.
Also in Veles, police officers conducted official interviews with three people after a man reported that he had been physically assaulted by his brother, sister-in-law and father.
In Skopje, a 41-year-old woman reported that she was physically assaulted by her husband in the family home. Meanwhile, a 21-year-old woman reported that she had been threatened by her partner.
In Pehchevo, a 46-year-old woman reported that her husband physically assaulted her in front of a hospitality venue.
