During excavation work for the construction of a building on “Metropoliti Teodosij Gologanov” Boulevard in Skopje, a grenade dating back to the World War II period was discovered yesterday.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the case was reported to the police yesterday at 12:00 by N.I. An inspection team from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department then went to the scene and, after carrying out checks, determined that it was a grenade from World War II.

As stated in the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Protection and Rescue Directorate was notified for the grenade’s safe removal.
