During the Bled Strategic Forum, Albania’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha, held a series of important meetings with key figures. He met separately with Peter Sorensen, the EU Special Representative for the Pristina–Belgrade Dialogue; Fadi Hajli, the acting Secretary-General of the Union for the Mediterranean; and Tālis Linkaits, head of the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community.

Minister Hoxha stressed the exceptional value of such forums, which create ideal spaces for discussions and dialogue with various figures, especially on issues that affect not only Albania but the entire region.
According to him, the talks focused on dialogue, stability and regional cooperation, as well as the immediate need to accelerate the Western Balkans’ connectivity and integration into European structures.
During his discussion with Sørensen, Hoxha underlined that a sustained dialogue process aimed at achieving practical and measurable results is vital to accelerating the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. This represents an irreplaceable contribution to preserving peace and strengthening regional stability.
At the meeting with Fadi Hajli, attention focused on consolidating the Euro-Mediterranean partnership and on ways to advance concrete initiatives in sectors vital to the region’s development and well-being.
Meanwhile, in his discussion with Tālis Linkaits, Minister Hoxha addressed connectivity, infrastructure and mobility as key pillars for a more united Western Balkans, closer to the European market and space.
“Dialogue, connectivity and cooperation are the three pillars on which a more stable, integrated region with a stronger European spirit must be built,” Hoxha concluded.
