Prince Harry has accepted an official invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace during part of his visit to London this week, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex has confirmed.
The visit is linked to preparations for the Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham next year, as well as charitable engagements.

According to his spokesperson, accommodation at the royal residence is part of a broader trip to the United Kingdom. However, Meghan Markle and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will not be part of this visit because of the lack of police protection funded by the British state.
It is not yet known whether there will be a meeting during this visit between Prince Harry and King Charles, who has not seen his two grandchildren in person for four years.
The unresolved issue of a stable security arrangement for the Duke of Sussex’s family has continued since his departure from royal duties in 2020 and his move to the United States.
Harry has challenged the decisions of the British authorities to assess his security on a case-by-case basis, stressing that the lack of full protection prevents him from bringing his family to the United Kingdom. In an interview in 2025, he said he did not consider it possible to bring back his wife and children without stronger security measures.
