The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defense, Gafurr Dugolli, and Germany’s defense attaché in Kosovo, Lieutenant Colonel Guido Altendorf, today signed an agreement for the German Enable & Enhance Initiative donation project. The agreement is part of bilateral cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany.

The project is worth approximately three million euros and aims to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) in carrying out its mission. According to the press release, it is a continuation of projects implemented to date within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Colonel Imer Avdiu, Director of the Logistics and Infrastructure Department at the Ministry of Defense; Silke Bellmann, Chargé d’Affaires at the German Embassy in Kosovo; and representatives of the NATO Advisory and Liaison Team (NALT), Lieutenant Colonel Fabian Vogl and Major Claus Schumm.
The statement said Gafurr Dugolli expressed gratitude for the Federal Republic of Germany’s unwavering support for the Republic of Kosovo. He emphasized the importance of this partnership and expressed confidence that cooperation would continue through other projects in the security and defense sectors.
