Flames Spread for Around 2 Kilometres Along the Fier–Vlorë Highway

On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out alongside the Fier–Vlorë highway, spreading across an area approximately 2 kilometres long along the road.

Dense smoke and the rapid spread of the flames have disrupted traffic and created hazardous conditions along this route.

Several fire engines have been dispatched to the area. Crews are working to bring the fire under control, extinguish the flames and prevent it from spreading further.

Until the situation returns to normal, motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution along this section and follow road signs and the instructions of the authorities.
