The application process for financial support in agriculture for 2026 has opened. Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Albrim Hoxha urged farmers to submit their applications by the deadline and benefit from the funds to which they are entitled.

Hoxha called on farmers not to wait until the final days to apply. He stressed that the regional offices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy are available to provide assistance and clarification regarding any uncertainties during the procedure.
Applications must be submitted electronically through the portal of the Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development. The scheme includes basic and additional income support, determined according to land area and the number of livestock, direct payments per unit of production, assistance for production inputs, and support for small agricultural holdings.
Before submitting an application, applicants must verify and promptly update their information in the relevant registers. To make the procedure easier, the Guide to Direct Payments in Agriculture for 2026 has been made available on the Agency’s official website.
Applications may be submitted until September 30, 2026, when the application period closes.
