The five-story apartment building on Elbasan’s Southern Ring Road, where a powerful explosion killed two people and injured several others, will be demolished in its entirety. The building has been declared uninhabitable and is considered a safety risk to residents.
The explosion, suspected to have been caused by a gas cylinder, caused severe structural damage to the building. The damage is not limited to the area where the explosion occurred; it has also affected other parts of the building, making it unsafe to occupy. Because of the risk it poses, a decision has been made to demolish the entire building.
