As on every other night, the 62nd consecutive protest was also held yesterday, continuing the daily mobilization in Tirana.
During the rally, the organizers reiterated their calls for the prime minister’s resignation and early elections, while announcing that the next protest, scheduled for tomorrow, August 1, is expected to be a national protest with broad participation by citizens and the Albanian diaspora.
According to announcements shared by diaspora communities on social media, the protest will take place on the Boulevard, while Albanians at home and abroad have been invited to join the rally.
“The countdown has begun. Overcome your fear and take part in the protest. Rama’s days are numbered,” were the calls made at the protest outside the Prime Minister’s Office.
The organizers have appealed for the largest possible turnout at the August 1 protest, describing it as one of the most important mobilizations of this movement, while emphasizing that the diaspora’s participation will be a key element of the rally.
