The project is part of Corridor VIII and envisages connecting the Strazha Pass with Kicevo. The motorway will be built in two phases: the first will cover the route from the village of Crvevci to Kicevo, while the second will run from Dolno Strogomishte to Crvevci.
The work will be financed through a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), together with grants from the Western Balkans Investment Framework.
Project supervision will be carried out by a consortium led by the Macedonian Institute of Civil Engineering. The supervision agreement was signed on September 30 with the Public Enterprise for State Roads. According to Telegrafi.
