The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office has completed its investigation and sent Italian citizen G.T., the administrator of “Euro Beton 2005,” to trial on three charges: fraud, concealment of income, and laundering the proceeds of crime or criminal activity.
As part of criminal proceedings opened in 2026, a months-long investigation that also used special investigative methods uncovered a suspected fraud scheme. The company allegedly obtained raw materials from various businesses by promising suppliers payment or apartments, then denied receiving the supplies or owing the money.

According to prosecutors, the raw materials were used to produce and sell concrete. They suspect that unrecorded supplies and sales of the product were used to conceal income and make unlawful gains appear legitimate.
At the conclusion of the investigation, prosecutors ordered the preventive seizure of the company’s movable and immovable assets, worth approximately €10 million in total.
The seized assets, along with the business operations, have been placed under the administration of the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets.
