In an official ceremony, Dimal Basha, acting Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, was present as the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo (AAC) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) signed two Working Arrangements.

According to the ministry’s announcement, these agreements link the AAC directly with EASA structures, placing it under the supervision and control of European standards. For an air transport sector that is recording continuous expansion, this brings a higher level of safety, professionalism and stronger institutional accountability.
Minister Basha assured that he will provide all the support to make the Civil Aviation Authority as professional and efficient as possible, committing that every recommendation requiring institutional intervention will be treated seriously and on time.
He also expressed gratitude to EASA, the European Commission and the EU Office in Kosovo for their cooperation and continued support in the development of Kosovo civil aviation.
