According to British authorities, Andrew Tate, 39, is accused of seven counts of rape, three charges of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three charges of assault causing bodily harm, and 19 charges related to illegal child sexual abuse material and extreme pornography.
Meanwhile, Tristan Tate, 37, faces charges of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three charges of trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The Tate brothers have denied all charges. Their lawyer, Joseph McBride, stated that his clients are innocent and called the arrest politically motivated.
He expressed confidence that a US court will reject the extradition request after reviewing the evidence.
The case is expected to be heard in a federal court in Miami, while the US Department of Justice is expected to release details of the indictment.
Andrew and Tristan Tate also continue to face separate legal proceedings in Romania, where they face other charges, which they have also consistently denied.
