Following the incidents recorded during the protest held today in front of Parliament, where there were moments of tension and several protesters were escorted away by police, Arben Kola, one of the organizers of the civic protests, has reacted.
In his public response, Kola accused the authorities of trying to push the situation toward escalation. He called on citizens to act independently, underlining that the organizers do not take responsibility for their actions.

“They are looking for violence, they want violence, not a peaceful protest. From now on, Albanians should react independently and we take no responsibility. They were terrified by the bin, Balla and Balluku.”
He further called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.
“Rama, resign, better now before citizens really drag you and throw you in the bin. Make way for the youth; in the SP and DP there are many young people who can govern much better than Rama and Saliu,” he said.
Kola also had a warning for the police, saying: “We will respond to violence with violence,” he said.
