Bella Daggett, the 23-year-old from Yorkshire who spent almost a year in prison in Dubai after being arrested on drug-related charges, has returned to Britain. She is now earning an income by posting provocative photos and videos on online adult-content platforms.
According to British media, Bella posts paid content on “Fansly.” A basic subscription costs around £7.40 a month, while the premium package costs up to £148 a month. She describes the package as a virtual experience similar to being in a relationship.

The 23-year-old also uses another pseudonym on Stripchat, a platform where models livestream for users who pay and tip.
She was arrested in March 2025, just five weeks after moving to Dubai to start a job in recruitment. Bella had gone to the United Arab Emirates hoping to build a new life after receiving a well-paid job offer from a businessman she had previously worked with in Britain.
Dubai police searched the property where she was staying and arrested both Bella and another man. Her family insisted that she had not used drugs and had found herself in that situation because of the people she associated with.
The United Arab Emirates authorities never gave full details of the specific charges against her. While Bella was in pretrial detention, her grandmother, Heather Smith, told the “Daily Mail” that the arrest had happened because of her granddaughter’s company. According to her grandmother, tests had found no traces of drugs in the 23-year-old’s system.
Her family described the prison conditions as extremely difficult. Heather Smith said Bella had gone a month without a shower and around three months without changing her clothes. She claimed that female prisoners were treated worse than men, who, she said, could go outside, play sports, and use televisions or video games.
Bella’s mother, 46-year-old Lucinda Smith, launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover legal and travel expenses. She raised nearly £1,500 and wrote in her appeal that the family had evidence of her daughter’s innocence and was doing everything it could to bring her home.
The drug charges against Bella Daggett were dropped in January, after months of uncertainty. However, despite having been detained for almost a year, she was required to pay a fine of around £3,000 for overstaying her visa.
In March, almost a year after her arrest, Bella returned to Britain, bringing her family’s wait and anxiety to an end. For a long time, she avoided speaking publicly about her experience in Dubai, concerned about the United Arab Emirates’ strict laws on criticizing the state.
In September, however, she shared an emotional message with her around 22,000 followers on “Instagram.” Bella wrote that a year earlier she had been going through the darkest period of her life and that, looking back, she felt very proud of everything she had managed to overcome.
She expressed gratitude for her new life, the people around her, and the opportunities that had come her way since returning home. After her experience in a Dubai prison, working on online adult-content platforms has become her new source of income.
