19-year-old from Skopje wanted internationally extradited from Serbia to North Macedonia

Today, on 24.06.2026, Sait Saitov, 19, from Skopje, who was wanted on an international arrest warrant, was extradited from the Republic of Serbia to the country.

According to the Interior Ministry’s announcement, he is reasonably suspected of the criminal offenses of “endangering people and property in traffic” and “failure to provide assistance to a person injured in a road accident,” in connection with a criminal-legal incident that occurred in Skopje on 09.01.2026.

The Interior Ministry said that a detention measure has been ordered against him and that he has been sent to Skopje Prison for further proceedings.
