North Macedonia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that yesterday, on 25.06.2026, at around 18:00, in Kočani, police officers from the Mobile Team of the Mobile Unit for Compensatory Measures within the Department for Border Affairs and Migration stopped an “Opel” vehicle with Kočani license plates.
The vehicle was driven by R.A. (37), from Kočani, and during the inspection it was established that he did not have a driver’s license.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the inspection of the vehicle, 1,848 pieces of trademarked goods were discovered, including T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts and sweatshirts.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports, the person was deprived of his liberty on reasonable suspicion of committing criminal offenses under Article 297-a and Article 285 of the Criminal Code, and was then handed over to the Police Station with General Jurisdiction in Kočani for further proceedings.
