Structures of Police Commissariat No. 3 have continued investigative and procedural actions regarding the gatherings held in Tirana on June 22 and 23, 2026, identifying and criminally prosecuting 11 citizens suspected of involvement in actions affecting public order and peace.
For the criminal offense of “Obstructing the Movement of Transport Vehicles,” the following citizens have been prosecuted while remaining at liberty: D. G., 50 years old, I. D., 55 years old, E. E., 32 years old, E. B., 29 years old, V. D., 30 years old, E. Z., 26 years old, Xh. P., 27 years old, B. K., 36 years old, D. B., 32 years old, Sh. B., 34 years old, and I. M., 28 years old.

According to the investigation, these citizens are suspected of directing and holding the gathering in areas different from those officially declared. Specifically, these were the intersection of “Urani Pano” Street with “Zogu I” Boulevard, the intersection of “Ibrahim Rugova” Street with Kavaja Road, as well as the intersection of “Ibrahim Rugova” Street with “Gjergj Fishta” Boulevard.
As a result, on these high-traffic routes with heavy vehicle circulation and large numbers of citizens moving through them, the free movement of vehicles and citizens was blocked.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
