Princess Iman, the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania, has given birth to twin girls, adding two new members to the Jordanian royal family.

The news was announced on Friday, August 14, by the Royal Hashemite Court, which congratulated Princess Iman and her husband on the birth of their daughters.
“The Royal Hashemite Court extends its warmest congratulations to Princess Iman, her husband and her parents, His Majesty King Abdullah II and Her Majesty Queen Rania,” the statement said.
Princess Iman is married to Jamil Alexandros Thermiotis, who is of Greek origin. The couple married in March 2023 in a ceremony held at Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman.
Their first child, a daughter named Amina, was born in February 2025, making them parents for the first time.
Iman is the second of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania’s four children. Her siblings are her older brother, Crown Prince Hussein, her sister, Princess Salma, and her younger brother, Prince Hashem.
Following the birth of the twins, Princess Iman and Jamil Thermiotis’ family now consists of five members.
