CMC: Of 23 Fires Reported in Macedonia, One Remains Active

The Crisis Management Center announced this morning that, as of 7:30 a.m., 23 outdoor fires had been recorded across the country. Of these, 20 have been extinguished, two are under control, while one remains active.

The active fire is in the Stojanova Naselba area, in the village of Greshnica in the municipality of Makedonski Brod. The fire has engulfed low vegetation, degraded forests and shrubs.

The fires at the Delcevo landfill and in the village of Patalishta in Gostivar have been brought under control. Low vegetation and low-stemmed forests were burned./Telegrafi/
