Georgievski highlighted the stark contrast between the principles that inspired the creation of VMRO-DPMNE and its current political orientation.
Reflecting on 1990 and the party’s first steps, the founder recalled that it was born as a historic mission, together with a group of people who shared the same vision.
“My main mission was the independence of Macedonia, away from the politics of Greater Serbia!” Georgievski declared.
In a direct attack on the party’s contemporary rhetoric, he added that instead of defending Macedonian identity, they are now contributing to its erosion.
