Water cannon trucks, metal barriers and an extensive police cordon have been deployed in the area around Parliament, while dozens of State Police officers have been assigned to maintain public order and security.

Organizers have called on citizens to gather outside Parliament at 08:00, describing the protest as a response to what they consider the institution’s disconnect from citizens’ interests and concerns.
