Fitore Pacolli, acting Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, has revealed that a cooperation agreement has been reached with the CNVP Foundation. This step marks an important moment for advancing long-term forest management and regenerating damaged areas in the White Drin River basin area.
In a statement shared on social media, she explained that the alliance focuses on preserving natural assets, restoring endangered habitats, and building a more sustainable future for residents.

“In the framework of this initiative, more than 5 hectares of degraded terrain will be restored, fresh plantings will be carried out to reforest affected areas, protection of biodiversity and ecological systems will be ensured, and public awareness about the value of forests and nature conservation will be strengthened,” she stressed.
The acting minister underscored the institution’s ongoing commitment to supporting projects that promote sustainable development, prudent use of natural resources, and shaping a greener Kosovo.
