US President Donald Trump said today that Iran would face severe consequences for every American soldier killed during the weekend’s military operations.

“Every time Iran kills an American Soldier, they will pay many times over for that killing! This directive has been conveyed to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump’s statement came after the US military today identified two soldiers who were killed in Jordan while defending the base against ballistic missile and drone attacks.
Meanwhile, an examination of human remains is underway to determine whether they belong to a third soldier who remains missing following the attack.
