She has been by the footballer’s side throughout his journey with the Spanish national team and also supported him during the World Cup, where Spain were crowned champions.
Garcia spoke for the first time about how she met Yamal in a TikTok video that was later deleted.
She dismissed a story that had gone viral on social media claiming that they had met in a shop after her card failed while she was paying and Yamal covered the bill for her.
“I would love to tell you a really crazy story, like I met him at the airport or by chance on the street, but no. We met on social media,” Garcia said as she shared the true version of events.
Although their relationship only recently became public, Garcia revealed that she and Yamal have known each other for around three years.
Speculation about a relationship between them began after they were seen together several times, including on a trip to Greece.
During the World Cup, Garcia traveled to the United States to support Yamal, despite admitting that she is afraid of flying.
She posted photos from the stadiums and shared messages of support for the footballer, calling him “my love” in one post.
Ines has a large following on social media, with around 1.4 million followers on Instagram and 1.7 million on TikTok.
She posts content related to fashion, makeup, skincare, travel and lifestyle.
In an interview with “Woman Madame Figaro” magazine, Garcia said that the best part of working as an influencer is the opportunities, collaborations with brands and attending various events.
According to her, the greatest challenge is public exposure and criticism from people who comment on her life without knowing her.
